Control your TV and entertainment system by motion detection using the ring.

The remote control's rectangular shape will soon be transformed with the Loop, a ring shaped remote control that detects motion to control the on-screen cursor.

This new remote allows you to navigate by pointing at icons on the TV screen, rather than by scrolling and clicking through listings.

The remote's most prominent feature is its motion ability - users move the ring around in the air with their hands - the ring detects the motion so the cursor on the screen is controlled by the user's motion.

Created by Hillcrest Labs, the Loop has landed license contracts with some electronic companies so expect to see this new ring-shaped remote in 2007!
