Blu-ray format comes to the Power Mac G5’s.

MCE Technologies has developed the worlds first Blu-ray format DVD burner for Mac Pro and Power Mac G5 systems.

The drive enables 2x reading and writing speeds on Blu-ray format discs and utilizes Roxio’s Toast 8 Titanium burning software for the writing needs.

The Blu-Ray format DVD reader/writer is now available on the MCE website for a cool $699, much less then their competitors.
