Not that useful

A company in Japan called Kuroutoshikou which normally stocks a wide array of randly odd hardware and generally strange bits has launched a PCIe x1 to PCIe x16 adapter.

How useful this really is depends on your view, but it would enable you to plug in a low profile graphcis card into a x1 PCIe slot.

We can see this as something handy if you have a system with integrated graphics without a x16 slot, although the performance wouldn't be nearly as good as with a real x16 slot.

You can pick one up for less than €19 if you live in Japan.
