As revealed earlier last month, Kingston has been working on a special type of fully-buffered memory which would go great with any dual-CPU Skulltrail setup. Now officially announced, the FB-DIMM memory presents itself as a HyperX-branded product that is able to work at 800MHz with 4-4-4 latencies. As with almost all HyperX modules, the new memory uses aluminum heatsinks for extra cooling.

Kingston's HyperX PC2-6400 2GB dual channel kit is now hitting the shops and features a suggested price tag of $169.
